Edison Energy, Inc. has over 45 years combined of experience in delivering the right solution to the client.
Founded originally in 1987 as Edison Group, Inc., and later reincorporating in 2005, Edison Energy, Inc. is a Miami, Florida-based company that dedicates itself to the distribution and supply of electrical materials and equipment in low, medium and high voltage for public and private power utilities, industry, mining, contractors, and trading companies. Over the course of its history, Edison Energy has grown a reputable list of clients worldwide.
In 2010, Edison Energy founded the wholly-owned subsidiary Edison Energy Perú SAC, based in Lima. The branch office serves as a local presence in what is considered a focus market for the continued growth of the company.
PEOPLE
The president and CEO of Edison Energy is Luciano Compagnoni, founder, principal engineer and consultant. Luciano has decades of experience in the T&D export industry, and has grown the company from an operation of 2 engineers into a solutions-provider with satisfied clients spanning four continents. Before Edison Energy, Luciano worked for McGraw-Edison, prior to its acquisition by Cooper Industries in 1985. In 1987, Luciano was instrumental in opening a Miami office for Cooper's push into Latin America. Luciano holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and is fluent in three languages.
Joining Edison Energy in 2016, Luciano's son James manages operations at the branch office in Lima. Prior to working for Edison Energy, James worked for Intel Corporation as a process engineer in New Mexico and Oregon. He holds a B.S. in engineering physics from Fordham University and an M.Sc. in Materials Science & Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is a certified private pilot--but don't ask him when was the last time he flew his helicopter.
